This free download of CWShredder is freeware. A small utility for removing CoolWebSearch (aka CoolWwwSearch, YouFindAll, White-Pages.ws and a million other names). Established antispyware program tend to forget essential parts of the hijack, so until they update, you can use this to completely remove the hijack. HijackThis
This free download of HijackThis is freeware. A general homepage hijackers detector and remover. Initially based on the article Hijacked!, but expanded with a lot of other checks against hijacker tricks. It is continually updated to detect and remove new hijacks. It does not target specific programs/URLs, just the methods used by hijackers to force you onto their sites. As a result, false positives are imminent, and unless you are sure what you're doing, you should always consult with knowledgable folks before deleting anything. FileAlyzer
This free download of FileAlyzer is freeware. FileAlyzer is a tool to analyze files. FileAlyzer allows a basic analysis of files (showing file properties and file contents in hex dump form) and is able to interpret common file contents like resources structures (like text, graphics, HTML, media and PE). Using FileAlyzer is as simple as viewing the regular properties of a file - just right-click the file you want to analyze and choose Open in FileAlyzer. KazaaBegone 1.30
This free download of KazaaBegone is freeware. This free download is a Kazaa uninstaller which scans and removes all elements of all Kazaa versions, as well as all of the bundled software that comes with it. This new version is updated to remove Winsock hijackers correctly. This freeware is compatible with all Windows versions. Kazaa has updated its client again to version 3.2.7 (and, very briefly, 3.2.5), so in response www.merijn.org updated KazaaBegone to remove that as well. This new version 1.30 also prompts you to use Bullguard's own uninstaller to remove it, since it's hard for KazaaBG to remove a fully functional and installed firewall by itself.
